Mary Margaret Frank
Dean and Alumni Distinguished Professor of Accounting
An award-winning teacher, researcher, and academic leader, Mary Margaret Frank is dean of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a triple Tar Heel. She received her PhD, Master of Accounting, and BSBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler.
Her academic interests include the integration of business principles and public policy objectives, cross-sector collaboration and leadership, and sustainable investing. These interests stem from her research on the effects of tax, financial accounting, and patent reporting on the strategies of corporate management, investors, and entrepreneurs.
Mary Margaret served on the faculty of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where she was associate dean for faculty development and co-founder and academic director of the Institute for Business in Society. She also served on the faculty of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Tucker York
Asset & Wealth Management, New York
Tucker is global head of Goldman Sachs Wealth Management and a member of the management committee. He also serves on the board of the Goldman Sachs Trust Company and the asset and wealth management private wealth management capital committee.
Prior to his current role, Tucker was global co-head of the consumer and wealth management division, and in various leadership roles across the global wealth management franchise, including head of the U.S. business and co-head of the EMEA business. Tucker has been based in Frankfurt, Zurich, London and New York. He began his career covering clients in New York and continues in that capacity today as part of his overall responsibilities. Tucker joined Goldman Sachs in New York as a private wealth advisor in 1986. He was named managing director in 1996 and partner in 2000.
Tucker serves as vice chair of the board of directors of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, treasurer of the board of trustees at The Marymount School and is a trustee at Christ Church in New York City. He is also a member of the Chancellor’s Philanthropic Council at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
